Day one in C hiclayo

The CSI advanced team arrived this morning at 0530 and checked into our hotel in Chiclayo, Peru. The flight was a long one and we spent the night in the airport in Lima. We toured Hospital Las Mercedes and were warmly welcomed by the administrators and department heads. Various team members made decisions as to where they would screen, operate, have the patients recover and where the families would wait for their children.

Our freight is being cleared now and we should be able to set up tomorrow. Great team who are anxious to get to work.
